    maybe you can demonstrate what you meant--or maybe your comment itself is a demonstartion of that very thing! the question was to comment on the project, which--IMHO at first blush--is something VERY enthusiastic, in every sense (even its etymology!) of the word! the original enthusiasts, after all, were entheogenic, i.e., psychedelic, folk!

  I just read Island recently. I can't tell you what an impact this book has made on me. Oh the possibilities which could become reality...boggle my mind. Just implementing the parenting philosophy with my own children. What can happen when we present positive ideals?

    Having just read the Island E-zine #28. I've been wanting to say how excited I am about the "New Island Mission Statement". This is one of the best, most realistic piece of Island philosopy I've read. I want to comment on specific items of intrest later, but first of all I want to say thanks for dropping the whole "we're gonna but an island and succeed from the union" thing. I never felt that was realistic. Bruce, I recommend posts concerning the "New Mission".
